Based on the Ampere architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands of Full HD 1080p gaming, the MSI GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X 8G OC Graphics Card brings the power of real-time ray tracing and AI to your PC games. This GPU features 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a 128-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous Turing-based generation. The front panel of the card includes a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1, which supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K at 60 fps and 4K at 120 fps.
Beyond high-resolution gaming, the RTX 3050's 2560 cores can accelerate computationally intensive tasks using CUDA and other APIs. For cooling, MSI implemented dual TORX 4.0 fans to maximize downward airflow and air dispersion to the heat sink, and MSI Zero Frozr technology to eliminate fan noise by stopping the fans in low-load situations. The NVIDIA Ampere architecture delivers twice the FP32 throughput of the previous generation, with 2nd Gen RT cores for enhanced ray tracing and shading, and 3rd Gen Tensor Cores for efficient AI-powered technologies. NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) boosts frame rates while maintaining optimal image quality using dedicated AI processing Tensor Cores, maximizing ray tracing settings and resolutions for an immersive visual experience. The HDMI 2.1 interface provides increased bandwidth, allowing a single cable to output to 8K HDR TVs for ultra-high-resolution gaming.
